Mercy Spirituality Centre offers Christian meditation and retreats. Pip Nicholls is a member of the NZ Contemplative Network and is one of the facilitators for retreats and companioning who offered a 6-day-retreat at the Centre. Pip tells us how she found her way to Christian meditation and spiritual companionship. Her interest in contemplation drew her first to Buddhist monastic life before she found her way back to the Catholic Church where she is now involved in practising contemplation and bringing it closer to the people. She explains how she uses this experience in contemplation during the guided silent retreats she facilitates.

Pass The Mic spotlights the stories and experiences of New Zealanders from migrant and former refugee backgrounds. The first series from 2022 is a community-led collaboration in partnership with Belong Aotearoa, Sport Waitākere and Storyo, hosted by Elina Ashimbayeva. The second series from 2025 focuses on the employment experience of lived experts and was made with funding from the J R McKenzie Trust.
