Pasifika Wire Live is a talanoa/chat show featuring people and topics of interest to Pasifika and the wider community. Started in 2020 by Gary and Gladys Shingles, Pasifika Wire aims to connect the voices of our communities to gain a wider understanding of the way things are.

About us :

Gary has worked in IT and the technical aspects of broadcasting for over 25 years. Gladys is a broadcaster and journalist who has also worked in the health and public sectors. Both have worked in and around Pacific media and broadcasting.

There are a couple of things you should know about Eamon. The first is that his mates know him better as "Piggy", and the second is that he's mad about sports. From local legends in grassroots to national level names, the Sports Weekender features interviews, updates and 'the week that was'. Tune in for your weekly sports fix.

Presented by an experienced English teacher who understands the needs of his fellow migrants, these 30 minute lessons cover all aspects of English including Pronunciation, Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. Hear how to improve English for general and workplace communication, social interactions, job interviews, IELTS and academic writing, along with interviews with migrants and English experts.
